When the comet reaches its farthest point, the Sun 'our star' is still the nearest object. Proxima Centauri is the next star, but is yet too far away to influence the comet. (Unless it reached too far into the Oort cloud. Such cloud of another star may overlap.) So the comet is on its way back to the Sun.
Probably the atoms can't vibrate without the radiation energy of a star. Because when the comet gets closer to the Sun, the atoms start to vibrate again and it becomes matter again. Due to the fact that they went through the 'zero Kelvin' phase. They form a dust layer around the comet. The particles variate from size. Some particles combine to a size of few micrometer. others stay with the size of a molecule. When the comet gets closer to the Sun, The lightest particles will disappear first. That's why Rosetta did not find very small particles.
These are also my thoughts about it!
Every time the comet passes the Sun, it loses material. It gets smaller and eventually it explodes into dust. And is blown away by the suns radiation. With this in mind there might have been more comets in the past. I'm not a scientist, but I like to think about those things.
Crop circles, you sometimes see them in fields. They are more visible with a helicopter or drone. But how are they made and by whom? I've been thinking about that again.
I think it goes like this:
A drawing is made in advance of what it will look like. People go into the field and begin to drill a long iron 'herring' into the ground. The herring has a handle so that it is also easy to remove. A sturdy rope is attached to the herring, on that rope there are colored tape in various places. You hold the rope with the right color and walk in circles, until a round surface is created. The first crop circle.
Then with the rope, and the tape, the distance is determined for the center of the of the next circle. At that point the herring is brought back into the ground. Now the rope is held in a different place. Repeat this a few times until you have made a whole pattern. You can use a protractor or compass. It must of course be done at night, so bring a flashlight.
An example:
Of course I don't know exactly how you make crop circles, maybe it is made this way. Don't try it out, otherwise you will argue with the farmer.
We are going to make the pattern of a mouse. Enter the field somewhere. Drill the herring into the ground. Attach the rope to the herring. First length, three meters. (10 feet) (See Fig. 4.) Indicated with a specific color of tape. Walk a few circles until it is flat.
Take your compass and stretch the rope 40 degrees west, we are now going to make the left ear. At the second length, four meters, (13 feet) stop the second herring in the ground. This is the center of the left ear. Untie the rope from the first peg and attach it to the second peg. Mark the first herring so that you can find it in the dark.
Then you go to the third length, one and a half meters, (5 feet) and walk around again until it is flat. Reattach the rope to the first peg. Then go east 40 degrees for the right ear. There you repeat the same as the left ear. And your mouse is ready.
So if you see a crop circle, look for the hole that the herring was in. If you don't find a hole or something and you still think it has something to do with Aliens, call M.I.B. :)
