It has good sound. You can adjust the sound well with the equalizer. The headphones are mainly intended for bass lovers, like me. But with the equalizer you can also turn the bass away. The highs also come through cleanly.
Noise canceling & AmbientThe noise canceling is good if you turn it on completely. You can set that up with the app. With Ambient you hear more of the environment than if you only have the passive termination of the headphones.
Sound directionAt first I thought you could set where the outside noise comes from, to cancel that. But it's different. You can make the music you listen to come from a certain direction. I personally don't think it's that important. With me it is turned off, you only hear stereo sound.
Surround soundYou also have different sound forms: eg Arena, Club, Concert Hall etc. Gives a nice effect to the music. After a long time I get a little tired. I usually have it turned off.
Sound EnhancementWith DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) you can improve the quality of old mp3 files. Controlled automatically. I've been listening to an mp3 file with a not so good quality, but I can't hear any difference. With or without DSEE.
FitFit is very good. The headphones are not heavy, are not tight on the head. Has soft earcaps.
ControlsThe controls are on the right earcup (Touch control). Play and pause works, tap twice in the middle of the ear cup. For volume up and down you have to swipe, that takes some practice. The disadvantage is that you have to be careful when handling the headphones that you do not accidentally touch the surface. You can then accidentally press play or activate the assistant. (Long press on the center of the right ear cup.)
FunctionsKeeping your hand fully on the right earcup temporarily lowers the music and allows you to hear your surroundings clearly. Handy to have a conversation with someone.
It has auto power off, you can set the time. This only works if you turn off the phone's Bluetooth.
Percentage of the battery is taken a bit broadly: 100%, 70%, 50%. etc.
Now use them for a while on the iPhone 11 and they stay well connected. It happened once that the app lost the headphones, in reviews I read that more apps from other headphones also suffer from this. But the next time pair the phone with the headphones again and the app worked again.
ConclusionIf you look at sound and fit, highly recommended. Noise canceling works well if you turn it on all the way.
